The Suns came up with a big conference win Monday night with a thrilling 80-74 Overtime victory against Whitefish Bay. The suns trailed by 1 at the half and by as many as 8 with just over 3 minutes to go. The effort the suns displayed in the 3 minutes was by far one of the best efforts put forth this season. The Suns created back to back steals to pull within 1 with just over a minute to play. The Suns the lead by 3 with 17 seconds to go. That’s when Whitefish Bay’s Garcia missed a long 3 pointer to tie the game. The long rebound went right to the Blue Dukes and the guests were able to tie the game with 1.6 seconds left. The Suns had one more shot to win in regulation, but TJ Simpson’s heave at the buzzer hit the top of the square and bounced off the backboard. The Suns controller overtime and came up with great defensive stops. Ben Seaman was big on the boards in the last frame and Simpson and Wedemayer made valuable free throws to seal the victory for the Suns

The win pushes the subs overall record to 10-11 and 9-8 in North Shore Conference play. The loss drops the Blue Dukes to 10-7 in conference play. The Suns will be back in action when they play West Bend West on Thursday. This will conclude the regular season for both teams

JV and JV2 both were victorious as well. JV2 won 56-48 and JV came back from 14 down to win 60-45
